what this is

about

This is a 1948 Indian Chief. It was purchased in 1972 form an old Indian shop in Monrovia California. The bike, at that time had a sidecar and was used as a shop bike. It would go out and pick up riders that broke down, strap their bike in-between the bike and sidecar. The rider would sit in the sidecar and they would get a ride back to the shop where their bike would be fixed. When the bike was purchased, I was the FIRST registered owner of the bike. I kept the bike and after riding it home, the sidecar was given to Dave (he did pay for it). The bike was put back in original Indian condition in 2010.
